Imagine standing taller, having more vitality and ease of movement?
That’s what happens when you bring your bones to life!
All you need is 2 or 3 hrs in a weekly course or a weekend workshop and I will lead you though a series of easy- to- do, effective and fast acting movements which are natural and fun. So you can start using your skeleton as it was designed too, bearing weight in a natural way as people have been doing for years.
African Water Carries are able to carry this weight on their heads, not because they have strengthened their necks but because of their skeletal organization. In the Bones for Life classes you’ll learn this type of skeletal organization that makes weight bearing easy and natural.
Many people are concerned about the effects poor posture has on their overall wellbeing. Slouching, sitting for extended periods of time can create tight and tense muscles in our back (especially neck and shoulders), resulting in pain and fatigue, effecting breathing, mood and everyday activities. Suddenly walking becomes harder and movements like getting up and down off the floor aren’t easy.
The “Bones for Life” method is about strengthening your entire skeleton so that you can move with improved alignment and a new sense of being upright and strong. Better alignment also gives you the potential to build bone strength and improve bone health.
You are then able to walk/run, spend a day in the garden, and exercise feeling good afterwards. Also have time on the floor with grandchildren, get out of a chair, all with greater ease and comfort.
Who is it for?
If you are concerned about your posture, decreased balance, difficulty walking, pain in your back/neck/knee and hips, getting up and down from the ground and osteoporosis.
This course is for those who are wanting to re-discover their natural strength, enhanced stamina, flexibility and greater ease and comfort in their body.
It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Everything I teach is easy to do at home and simple to integrate into your daily life.
I don’t have to tell you how important it is to keep moving in order to be able to keep moving.
