Feldenkrais Method

The Feldenkrais Method was created by Moshe Feldenkrais developed in Israel due to his knee injury. There are 2 ways to experience the method, either in private sessions or group classes.

Private Feldenkrais Lessons.

Each lesson is a personalized 1 hour session tailored to your needs. Though gentle touch and verbally guided movement you will learn how to reduce muscle tightness and tension. You’ll become aware of your habitual patterns of movement and discover better ways to move with more comfort, enjoyment and ease.

You will also be given your own home exercise program so you can continue to improve, maintain and feel better.

Group Classes

In this one hour class you are guided through a sequence of slow gentle and mindful movements. The lessons deepen your sense of how you move, teaching you how to reduce effort, increase quality and coordination.
The slow movements with awareness, find the most effective ways of moving, enhancing fitness performance, improving stamina, deepening your yoga practice, and functional movements like climbing stairs, reaching, walking etc becomes easier.
Each lesson is different and often experienced lying on the floor, and sometimes in sitting, standing or sitting in a chair.
The classes will help you maintain the health, flexibility and agility of your back.
